Must-Have Recipes from Better Homes and Gardens App Reviews

This app is a rip off. I dont appreciate having to "pay" to get a simple recipe. Im deleting this app now!!!

Its everything Ive wanted in a food app until recently when every time I look up a recipe it crashes.. So please update this and soon!

I got the App based on the name Better Homes and Gardens, I kept it for almost a year but it never seemed to get better. Same recipes featured, they rotate like 20 and thats what you get and when you save recipes to your favorites it crashes anytime you want to do anything. Its a shame because they have a great concept it just lacks follow through and implementation.

I love the recipes and how they are organized. The How-To videos are nice and the other functions within the app (like favorites) are great ideas. However, when my iPad is in the landscape position the right-hand 1/4 of the screen no longer responds to any input. I cannot activate the "More" function at the bottom, watch any videos in the third column on the How-To, etc. This SERIOUSLY needs to be fixed.

I cant seem to be able to get recipies saved to my favorites and I am not able to access other icons in a recipie.

I own this app on a Kindle and it works beautifully. But on the iPad I can open recipes or save anything to favorites. I even paid for all the additions and now I feel ripped off!

Cannot save favorites, some recipes wont even open. Even additional recipes I purchased wont open. Take some lessons from the Betty Crocker app. It works perfectly.

I downloaded this on my iPad and none of the icons work. I cant save anything to faves or email or add to sopping list. It has great recipes but I would like it to work. Its not very touch friendly as far as scrolling either

This is ridiculous. There are so many bugs with this its insane. About half of the icons are just pictures on a screen and do nothing. I wrote to the developers and they told me they were preparing an update which took months to come. This is it, and its worse than before. Stop selling the app now. You are nothing short of thieves at this point.

My guess is that the app bugs are fixed. Love it and will add to my iPad!

Works perfectly on iPhone 6, lots of great recipes

Wow!!! You get 4 free recipes & by opening a recipe it is assumed that you wanted this recipe & the count is on. Bad app, so much for free.. I will stick with my Allrecipes, Yummly & Pinterest.

I cant make a recipe a favorite. Click on the star and it does not work. Very frustrating.

The recipes in the app are new faves for my family (lemon soufflé pancakes, grilled herb scallops, and yummy cookies) . Love that I can print, cook, and send a shopping list to my husband from my phone. So easy!

This app crashes "Everytime" I attempt to save a recipe as a favorite

I came here to rave about this wonderful app and was surprised to see the low rating. So far everything works great and nothing has crashed...hopefully they have perfected this incredibly helpful application.

I love this app! It so great! It has TONS of FREE recipes! I would recommended this app to yall! Great for any cook!

I think its a good app. Its just that certain types of recipes you have to pay for when you could just as easily look up those recipes for free online.

This app is not that bad. The main bug I have experienced on this is 1/4 of the screen on my right does not respond to anything at all so I cannot tap on anything or favorite anything new. This seems to go on and off. Not sure what causes it. In terms of recipes; they are easy to understand and i always like picture references. The recipes do taste pretty good and the gallery gives me ideas of what to make or use as a guide. Instructions are easy and i have yet to burn or mess up anything. I do wish more recipes will be added and the bug to be fixed. Other than that, I dont mind paying a dollar for more recipes.

Would be great if my saved recipe box from BHG online were viewable thru this app!
